Rally For Education

As a Long Island parent and grandparent, I chose this community for its outstanding schools, believing in the bright futures they promise our children. This conviction drove me to join the rally this past Saturday, alongside hundreds of educators and parents, united in our demand to protect what we hold dear. 

The prospect of funding cuts to our schools, especially to divert resources elsewhere, including to support for illegal immigrants, directly contradicts the reasons many of us have made our lives here. 

This is a call to Governor Hochul: our children's education must remain a top priority. Their potential, our community’s stability, and the integrity of the reasons we call Long Island home are too valuable to compromise. Keep the focus where it truly belongs—on our kids’ futures.
